Seems to me he's going w/ Jenks first in most days and falling back on Hermanson if Jenks is a no go or can't finish the game. He's been very willing to use Jenks in the 7th or 8th and then stretching him out as much as possible. Something similar can be said for Politte although Politte hasn't actually gotten a save in the past month yet. I suspect he's using Jenks the way he was hoping to use Politte last month before Jenks proved to be good enough to close.
I say this based on my observations as an owner of Politte (until recently) and Jenks (recently/now) while I also keep tabs on my league's leader who owns Hermanson.

And oh, holds (and blow saves and losses) count in that league.

Jenks got the save today

. I need Hermanson during championship week, even worse my opponent has Jenks.

Hermanson's been having back problems for a while now, right? Maybe they're finally catching up to him and the White Sox are being forced to look to a healthier alternative in Jenks.

Sep 20 WhiteSox.MLB.com's Scott Merkin reports Chicago White Sox RP Bobby Jenks will close out games against right-handers, and RP Damaso Marte will close games against lefties. Manager Ozzie Guillen said RP Dustin Hermanson's back has taken him out of the closer's role.
