Yankees on their way to winning the AL EAST

I agree! They are turning it up. It may well come down to the final games at Fenway With the way things are turing out in the Wildcard race, whoever loses the AL East might not make the playoffs. It would be veeeeeeery sweet to clinch the AL East at Fenway, and in the process, eliminating the defending champs from playoff contention. Very very sweet.

A Yanks Bonston series for the pennant might be more exciting that anything in the playoffs. Especially if Cleveland keeps winning and the loser goes home this winter.

Definitely the playoff push right here. I was yelling at the TV last night when the Oakland 'pen collapsed. There is nothing I'd love to see more than the Yankees get a good running start and kick the Sox right in the gonads.

In years past I would have been pretty confident that Boston would screw it up in the final two weeks somehow...and even though they got the monkey off their back last year, I still feel like there's a countdown to the Sox implosion....
