There are only 3 ballparks left in the majors with artificial turf, Minnesota, Toronto, Tampa Bay. So there's a good possibility that eventually, years down the road, there could be all grass fields once again. I would assume Minnesota would get a new stadium in the next decade. I'm not sure how soon Toronto would since Skydo- er Rogers Centre is still relatively new (in ballpark years that is). And isn't TB locked into some horrible lease with Tropicana until 3010?

That must be the new "1000 year lease" I've been hearing about. You can amortize the hell out of a building if it has a useful life that long.
I wouldn't be in such a rush to get rid of my turf if I were one of those three teams. The fewer stadiums that have it, the more awkard it will be for visiting players to adjust. Take a home field advantage anyway you can.
