Anyway, surely there's enough sucky guys out there getting AB that we don't have to hamper a $200 mil. All-Suck team with a guy who's just going to sit on the DL. After all, he'd just be replaced in the lineup by a cheaper guy who, for all we know, might reach the heights of mediocrity and ruin the suckiness of it all!
Yeah, i think the idea is that everyone on the list has to have actually played badly at least at some point, rather than sitting out the whole year. Kevin Brown is perhaps a stretch here, but he did suck in most of the games he played the last two years.

The non-Ramirez team cost $22 Million
Wow.
Just think if you combined Manny's and Alex's salaries.
The real scary part is that the first team I put together was only $6 Million and would most likely have been a heavy favorite to win the World Series heading into next season. It took a few higher dollar players to just to get up to Manny's salary.
Wow .......Nice work Tavish and that would be a nice team.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
now, now, that's not really fair, since most of these guys are getting salaries based on the fact that they're not even arbitration eligible yet.
guys like carp and teix are examples of very good signings, but the v-marts and bays up there are just the fact that a team brought up a great kid in their minor-league system.
none the less, a VERY impressive sqad.

How can anyone say Jim Thome for this team? He's had ONE bad year in recent memory and that was this year and due to injury. Thome is the model of consistency and an absolute monster at the plate. I mean sure... his average is nothing to write home about, but he's gotta be around .280-.290 for his career. He doesn't belong here because bitter fantasy managers got burnt by his injury (Myself included).
