I don't like the way my league went this year (Even though I'm only trailing 1st by 2.5 Pts and could definitely win this league) because Transaction fees have kept the middle to bottom tier teams from making moves since basically the AS break and I'll never do a Transaction Fee league again because of it...
We did $75 a team, 9 teams, $5 per trade, $3 per add/drop.
As of right now the transaction pot is at $707. The initial entry pot was $675 ($75 per participant, 9 managers).
Of the $1,382 (which will keep growing down the stretch, it looks as though:
1st will received an estimated $829... 2nd $345... 3rd $207.
This is growing rapidly down the stretch and I may be making an adjustment to chop the 1st and 2nd place pot down to something like 50/35/15 instead of 60/25/15 since the leader is getting nervous and I don't think I'll catch him. Either way it looks like the pot will be a little over $1,400 for a 9 team league.

What is the size of your pot this season? Ours right now is at $3200.
any openings for next season?
I make a lot of transactions ... ...
Possibly... it's a keeper league but we are resetting except for one rookie/late pick. The league has been pretty stable with active owners since we started in 2000. But I have a feeling that an owner or two will walk after this season since it's becoming so expensive.
FWIW, I finished 2nd, 3rd, 1st, 1st so far. I'm not the smartest baseball guy so any veteran can step in and compete right away.

let me know ..
I am dropping one Money league next season, becaus e the other owners are so stubborn and won't make trades and insist on paying a C- grade stat service 100 plus dollars a year.
10 teams, $100 per team, plus $1 for every transaction you make, including trades. I'm unsure of where our pot is right now, as the Commish handles all of that, but we pay $800 to the Winner, $200 to 2nd Place, and the transaction money goes to the 3rd Place team.
Pujols/Edmonds/Rolen screwed me out of $600 last year. Pujols/Edmonds better not do it again this year...
