Not really...he's just an analyst. If he were a GM or scout than I could see the conflict.

Randy Wolf has a brother that's an ump, and he can't call Phillies games...

I thought he just couldn't be behind the plate when Wolf pitches.

Maybe that's all it is, but I think him calling any base could be considered a conflict if Wolf was pitching...what if there's a close play at 1st or something? You'd think MLB would want to avoid that all together if they could, but that's not something Selig is known for.

His brother can be in the field, just not behind the plate. Jim is his name I believe

isn't so bad of a lineup.

When you get a top 3 pick for the string of years the DRays have, I think a monkey could have drafted those guys.

Plus Lugo wasn't drafted by LaMar.

Yeah, he should keep his mouth shut--of course. But that doesn't mean he's wrong.
I'm back. Sorta.

Do not boo Johnny.

This won't give him a reputation at all. The same stuff has been said in every newspaper in the country. The other GMs know he's right, and they know they would have called him up if he was on their team.

It's one thing if he says something that people disagree with, but every GM is frustrated with the Rays, so they can definitely understand Young's frustration.
