Yahoo!!!!
With his hand problems and me already down 8-0 in my playoffs this week, I want to cut this guy loose... After reading about his hand, he could be out for the rest of my fantasy season, and now his just taking up 1 of 3 value bench spots <img src=/forums/images/smiles/kiss.gif>
Stupid Yahoo... Does anyone know how they make their list and if he will come off it this year? hopefully very soon

Seeing as studs are getting injured and can't be dropped, I'm abadoning the Can't Cut List for our hockey league.

Generally Yahoo will drop a guy off the list eventually if he's injured.
Why should the commish do that just to help you out? Thats changing the rules during the season IMO.

Not really... I think it's just there to prevent cheating and stupid drops...

It's there to prevent cheating and roster dumping. BUT it's still a rule change if the Commish does that. In my not so humble opinion, the Commish should only do that if the whole league agrees to it and should probably simply get rid of it completely going forward. It should not be a temporary thing just to let you make a roster move. This is because it impacts everyone else too, not just you. It's rather shortsighted if you think it isn't a rule change.
FWIW, I too recently considered asking for the list to be dropped from our dynasty-like keeper league because it's preventing me from preparing my roster for next year -- I have Clemens and would probably drop him shortly before the season ends just because of the way our keeper rule works, but I can forsee dropping the list potentially causing problems or might be seen as unfair to some. I'm essentially co-commish of this league now, so I certainly can influence things in that direction, but it's probably a bad idea for the long term health of the league. Better to consider dropping it starting next year instead (or maybe adjusting how we use the list to allow for exceptions instead).
