Damn CBS

This is playoff week! and they said Johan was probable all day.
Now ESPN bottom line says hes not starting because of blister

Manager Ron Gardenhire said Saturday that LHP Johan Santana is scheduled to take his next turn in the rotation. Santana left Friday night's game after five innings because of a broken nail on the middle finger of his left hand. He won't throw before his next start, scheduled for Wednesday in Detroit.

FANTASY ANALYSIS
Breaking a nail won't keep Santana out at this point. Reserve him at your own risk at this point. His matchup at Detroit is favorable -- actually any matchup is favorable for him.

Minnesota Twins left-hander Johan Santana will miss his scheduled start Wednesday against Detroit because of a blister on his middle finger. Santana, the AL Cy Young Award winner last year, is 13-7 with a 3.17 ERA and leads the majors with 207 strikeouts. Francisco Liriano will start for the Twins on Wednesday.

FANTASY ANALYSIS
All is not lost for Fantasy Week 24 (Sept. 12-18) for Santana, who could start one of the weekend series games vs. the Chicago White Sox. Liriano is a flamethrowing prospect who posted wicked strikeouts numbers, which makes him an intriguing flier to take in keeper and AL-only leagues.

This just figures. In my main money roto league, I'm making this huge run coming into September, and then ARam, Bondy, Sheets, Harden, and now Johan go down.

It's all full now. I was just going to be pissed if he goes into the ninth with a SO, loads the bases, then Nathan comes in and lets them all score. That didn't happen so :-°

Very good start for Johan though. ;-D
