Yep, use them to work on draft strategies, but I finish out the seasons. I found I like draft pitching early, so I think I'll try it again next year.

I'd say the worst is the hour or so I spent most of the year at work setting lineups. I watch the games on mlb.tv quite a bit at night but my wife works from home so that's not *that* bad (since I do it while she's working).

Next year I'm cutting back though - I'm limiting myself to 4 leagues per sport and only doing football and baseball. I may do even less than 4 in baseball but do only competitive leagues (I'm in 15 yahoo public leagues this year and only 1 private league).

My wife gives me more grief for doing my spreadsheets than she does me playing with my teams. But I am not addicted, I am only in 16 leagues <cough> I am in 1st or 2nd in 11 leagues, 3rd in another 1 pt behind 2nd, 3.5 pts out of 1st. So I am pretty happy overall. The bad part is I am in 14th in my 20 team league <sigh> my RP draft didn't work out with Foulke, Mota, and Looper. I did finish 4th in my one dynasty league, but I lost in the 1st round of the playoffs. New league and I drafted mostly pitching early. Got Santana, Hudson, Schmidt, Sheets, Lowry, Millwood. Picked up Cain though Needless to say my hitting kind of struggled. So, I am picked up a lot of rookies. Hope they grow up fast.

During the summer I woke up 30 minutes early to set my lineup, check for injuries. Now I have to get up even earlier as i have to get my kids dressed before I got to work as my wife works midnights and isn't home.
