Try the people who actually lost everything they had in the hurricane. You want to call them overly sensitive if they're angered by a joke relating to their vast misfortunes right now?
Its not censorship. Its human decency.
You're lucky I didn't quote the stuff you said before others saw it
This from the guy who wouldn't donate to the Hurricane Relief...
Come on, it's a humor show, and while it maybe not be in the best taste, are we going to have to wait until the United States isn't overweight before they can show their new episode with a fat joke in it?
Personally, I don't care either way, I just don't think it's necessary.
Again....you make a jackass of yourself by writing misinformation. No where did I ever say I wouldn't donate money. In fact, although its none of your damn business, I did make a donation. What I have a problem with is someone claiming they have the right to tell others what to do as a sort of moral supremacist.

Today's episode was good
Should have the torrent done by tomorrow.
Okay, sorry, what I should have written was "this from the guy whose only comment in thread suggesting we donate money to Hurricane Katrina was that that person shouldn't be telling us what to do."
And by the same line of logic, who are you to tell me what is and what isn't my business? Talk about moral supremacists...

As for the episode...I love Tivo.
"By the same line of logic?" HAHAHAHA
You sir, are the king of faulty, twisted logic. Congrats on proving that yet again
My monetary affairs are no business of yours, just as yours are not mine. Its quite simple and obvious really.
It's just more censorship. The news references hurricanes every day, and with horrible pictures to go with it. You don't think this is insensitive to the survivors?
I don't see what's wrong with adding a little humor to our lives, especially if it just references a hurricane that has nothing to do with Katrina.
Father always said laughter was the best medecine. That's probably why several of us died of tuberculosis.

There are many reasons why someone doesn't donate to that fund. Many people here have little or no funds. Just look at my name here for my financial situation. Either way, I have no problem with them not airing the episode right now. Many people will be watching that lost a lot during the hurricane and there will also be friends and relatives that lost loved ones in it that will be watching. 1 episode won't hurt the show.

So those people won't be upset 2 weeks from now? I find that hard to believe. It was a totally unrelated hurricane joke, and I think its just sort of unnecessary political correctness because SOME people may be offended by something that has nothing to do with Katrina.
