Broadcasting&Cable.com wrote:Fox Holds Family Guy With Hurricane References

Abstract: Fox has substituted one original episode of Family Guy for another on Sunday, the debut of its new fall season lineup that night, because the episode scheduled to air contained a “couple” references to a hurricane. “Out of sensitivity to what happened, we’re moving it back a couple weeks,” a Fox spokesman told B&C.
EDIT: I'll just edit my comments in advance.

TV.com still has a new episode running today and that article is several days old now.
I don't see anything wrong with holding an episode about a hurricane back in light of what has happened. It would be utterly indecent to show right now. How you have such a problem with that I personally find disgusting.
According to Tv.com the new episode today is: Peter's Got Woods.
Peter and Brian’s friendship becomes strained after Brian begins dating Meg’s high school teacher. Peter finds a replacement in new best friend James Woods, who is visiting Quahog because of a suggestion to rename James Woods High School after Martin Luther King Jr.
Try the people who actually lost everything they had in the hurricane. You want to call them overly sensitive if they're angered by a joke relating to their vast misfortunes right now?
Its not censorship. Its human decency.
You're lucky I didn't quote the stuff you said before others saw it

I'd like to know how the people who lost everything would be watching it on TV. And its not a joke about their vast misfortunes. Like I said, the joke was written months before the hurricane, and it likely has nothing to do with New Orleans. And how is it less offensive 2 weeks from now, if its offensive now? Bah, forget the whole thing.
Just forget it. Its just a bit of info for anyone wondering. Lets just both forget about it instead of getting this thread deleted in a flame war, mmmkay?
Considering the show is way offensive already its probably better for the show that it's not on now.. You don't want a bunch of politicians crapping their pants about it.
I don't care either way but better not offend even more people

This from the guy who wouldn't donate to the Hurricane Relief...
Come on, it's a humor show, and while it maybe not be in the best taste, are we going to have to wait until the United States isn't overweight before they can show their new episode with a fat joke in it?
Personally, I don't care either way, I just don't think it's necessary.
