Timlin, Foukle, some other dude?

As far as I know it'll be Timlin until they feel comfortable with Foulkes performance, which is still a ways off. I don't remember where I heard it, but I heard they might have to use Foulke as a setup man through the playoffs (assuming they make the playoffs).

It is still Timlin. Foulke has not pitched in anything resembling a pressure situation.

The plan was to keep Timlin in the closer position until Foulke was ready, but I'm not sure at this point that he (Foulke) will get there. His velocity is still down and his command is still poor. IMO, a lot of things will have to happen for Foulke to regain this position ... and I need him badly to get me some saves

francona was quoted in some article of saying that it's gona be by commitee. he says that he wont hesitate to bring in timlin if he senses trouble before the 9th inning. they're going to try to ease foulke back into the closers role and hopefully have him ready for the post-season. that doesnt help our fantasy teams tho.

Im almost 100% sure that Foulke won't get it back this year, too late in the season and in the middle of a important playoff race, ya can't say the Red Sox are exactly shoe ins yet. I think they've been fine with Timlin personally and I think he should stay in their until he totally blows it(And im not just saying that cuz I own him).
