With the A's. Looking at his career he seems to always have an awesome August and/or Semptember. Any postulation on the reasons?

Who knows why, however he's been a great pickup for the A's this season. He's something like a career .280 hitter and is flourishing thanks to playing everyday and the atmosphere of the A's.

As to why he's a second half guy, maybe it takes him a long time to get into a rhythm, or maybe he needs to see pitchers more than once to get a feel for them.
