one should mention healthier too, as Thome could be ready for a serious decline. as for where he should go, this would make him a perfect candidate for the Orioles

I'm pretty high on him as you can see, so my projections may be a bit higher than others'.

Don't ask me why, I just feel this prediction.
Probably the worst thing I've ever posted on this boards. Well, that's one thing he got right.
Heh, I guess you got us all. I didn't draft Morneau in any league though, I had Tex in 3 and D Lee in the other. I WIN TEH PRIZE

Has everyone forgot that Morneau got beaned in May and has not been even close to the same ever since? Before Morneau got beaned, his numbers were great. I don't know about 40hr for Howard, but mid-thirties is a real possibility.
As a Philly fan living in Philly, I have seen this kid play quite a bit. I can tell you now hitting 40+ HRs will be no sweat for him, unless he has a horrific slump (which is always a possibility for 2nd year guys). The ball absolutely leaps off his bat. He hits HRs effortlessly, in fact most of his HRs are opposite field shots. Once he learns how to pull the ball more he will be hitting 450 foot HRs routinely. He has a Cecil Fielder type build - just huge with a nice stroke. I believe 40 HRs and 100+ RBIs will be routine for him in the coming years.
