SA, pardon me but I think you are pulling this out of your @#$.
Been following Miggy since he broke in and his body has matured a lot especially since the end of last season.
He's going to be a big guy and will develop into more power in the long run. The only things standing in his way are injuries.

Venezuela is not the DR. Generalizations about Latin players like that don't hold water. No slight to the DR, but birthdates are typically much more accurately recorded in Venezuela.
In any case, there are probably tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of roughly 6-2 220 22-year-olds in the U.S. alone (if that actually is his height and weight).
Edit: Not that you mentioned the Dominican Republic, but my guess is that the notoriously poor birth records some of the Latin players from that country are what you're basing your claims on, in addition to Miggy's size.

I went with MCab, but I think Tex is a lot closer then what a lot of you think. Better defensively also. He's going to hit for more power, not as much average, and he also plays in a hitters park which is going to help his numbers. Both are very, very good.
Hey, I believe what I believe, just as you believe what you believe. I look at the guy and think it's highly unlikely he's 22. I said the same thing about Soriano a few years ago and everyone laughed at me until, sure enough, it was revealed he was two years older than he claimed. While Venezuala might not be as bad as the DR and Cuba when it comes to lack of age verification, its still relatively easy to shave off a few years.
I am the Master. Don't question the Master. Just do what he says and be proud.
Ok despite the age issue, I think Teix will be the better hitter. I think his BA will go up as his age does, and those power numbers will stay the same. As for the best player, D Wright may take that award. Better speed and defensive ability than the other two.
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike
