I don't think it's a lack of love for Wright, it's just that Miggy is in elite company when his age is factored in. By elite, I mean Pujols and a maybe small handful of other players who had MCab's potential for continuous productivity at age 22.
Tex and Wright are also studs. But Cabrera's a class above, IMO.

Exactly. There are not too many players putting up his type of numbers at age 22. Teixeira didn't break into the majors until 23.
Wright and Teixeira are closer in value than Cabrera to either one.

i think the bigger surprise from my perspective is people putting cabrera above teixeira. i figured teix would be up there. while miggy will probably hit for a better average in the long run, i think teix will close that gap to a greater extent than cabrera will close the gap those two have in power.
either way, both should be fun to watch from here on out.
i think it's completely the opposite, and that's why i like cabrera more.
