these guys are all about the same age and have all been in MLB for about the same length of time. (teix is a little older, MCab has one extra year of experience).
But which of the three do you think will post the best career numbers?

in that order. I love Wright and I'm not trying to take anything away from him, but he's just not quite as talented as the other two. I'd say the other two are just about even, but the question is about numbers. And right now, Teix plays in the AL in a hitters park and MCab plays in the NL in a pitchers park. Since they'll stay with their original teams as long as those teams can keep them, I'll put Teix just above the others.

I'm a huge Mets fan, and especially a fan of Wright and his great work ethic and talent. However, Miggy is a pure machine, and at this point in their careers Tex is just more of a threat. Give it a year or two, and if Wright finds a power stroke, I could see Tex and Wright flipping due to the differences I believe there will be in average.
mcab will be the best easily imo next would be tex then wright behind tex.... the difference in gap between mcab and tex is bigger then the gap between tex and wright
wow. lotta love for miggy so far, not so much for wright. i guess it's just a fact of life that steals arn't nearly as valuable as HRs in real baseball, and SBs are where wright clearly stands out among the others.
i think the bigger surprise from my perspective is people putting cabrera above teixeira. i figured teix would be up there. while miggy will probably hit for a better average in the long run, i think teix will close that gap to a greater extent than cabrera will close the gap those two have in power.
either way, both should be fun to watch from here on out.
