Well, it's not much different than all the talk about hot prospects turning all their doubles into HRs once they reach the majors, except I'd rather bet on Bonds getting his stroke back than hot prospects turning doubles into HRs (like some do).
Anyway, if you push the Bonds fans too hard, you'll only be taking the risk of looking foolish if you turn out wrong.

haha im curious which prospect are you talking about? and we're just gloating right now because Delux was so hyped up about his return and argued that he was gona be ARod and Pujols caliber when he comes bak.

I could care less if I'm wrong. I don't have Bonds and I did not waste a draft pick or a roster spot for him.
I just feel bad for those who actually dropped serviceable players from their rosters expecting Bonds to hit a bomb in every AB. Because by now we all know it ain't gonna happen in 05.

I wasn't refering to any specific prospect, but just about how so many people around these parts seem repeat that mantra like it always turns out to be true.
Anyway, looks like Bonds finally hit his 1st dinger, so I guess we can all take it easy now -- or maybe not. Too bad for me that it's probably too little, too late.
