He could be in the lineup tonight??? This is huge news!!
He could make a serious impact on playoff teams down the strech. Especially in H2H formats that include OBP.
I traded Kolb for him the first week he was out. I have held on to him ever since. Now I am enjoying my bye week and will be watching his progress.
I love baseball!

Bonds will still get on base like a mother. His bat might need to be fine tuned, but he is one of the best ever. I am very confident that he will fill ANYONE's #3 OFer.

Bond's is old news....
No one cares.
Hope he goes 0fer the rest of the season/ leg falls off on his first walk to first and we never hear anything from him again after the end of regular season.

Why? The Giants are 5 games out. Yes, I assume he will get limited ABs the first week. But, if he is everyday or every other day player the last 3 weeks of our FBB season, why not play him? He has only been the MOST consistant player in the last decade! He will factor in BIG in H2H leagues.

Your telling me that if you had Barry on your squad right now, you would not play him the final weeks of the season? Assuming of course that he gets regular AB's?
He will single handedly win the BB cat for me. Additionally, he will contribute heftily in the R cat. For an added bonus, if he find even a portion of his old swing, then you get the other cats.
Tip for the cafe....
Scoop him now if he is available!

I understand your thoughts on this and agree to a certain degree.
But, you ahve to take a chance on him. He has never given you a reason to not sit him.
Do you think pitchers will still be skeerd of Barry? Of course! Do you think he will still get on base? For certain!
I guess I am bit suprised that nobody else shares my opinion on this.
