Arizona wins Series 4 games to 3;
Yankees 2, Diamondbacks 3.
Very nice, right along with my thinking as I read the title of the thread.
I also like Sox down 0-3 ...... we all know what happens after that

I'd like to make it clear for the record that this attempted hijacking has not been by Yankee fans, but fans of other teams whose continued obsession with the Yanks has most likely kept them up nights suffering through migraines and cold sweats. That is all.

So the title of the thread is "Greatest Down to the Wire Moment Ever..." and you consider it hijacking because I wrote what I thought of after reading the title and not in exact response to what the poster specifically wrote?

that Arizona game was "down to the wire", I am not sure about the Boston serie though.
Are you interested in joining a 28 teams dynasty league? If so, PM me.
You guys are freaking me out. I have a 1.5 point lead over 2nd, and a 5 point lead over 3rd in my roto league. It's going to come down to the last day - I only hope I'm on the winning side of this story!
"The game has a cleanness. If you do a good job, the numbers say so. You don't have to ask anyone or play politics. You don't have to wait for the reviews." - Sandy Koufax
Last year a blow-hard claimed victory around the all-star break. He was about 20 points ahead of me in 3rd place. I can't remember which of his position players went on the DL, but I grabbed all of his decent potential FA replacements. He wasn't careful with his innings, and on the last day, Mo gave me the save that beat him.

I'm currently trailing 1st place in my roto league 77-75.5 and there are several hotly contested categories still in play and there's probably about a $500-$600 difference between 1st and 2nd.
I'm tied in WHIP with someone, he's leading someone in runs 931-926, SB 144-143, W 104-103, and the ERA race I'm in looks like this:
3.72
3.75 Me
3.77
3.78
I can see 4-5 of us from this league sitting at the bar watching the last night of the regular season games with stat-tracker popped up on someone's cell phone, screaming at the TV...
