It depends on what your team needs, if you post your roster we may be able to help you more, and you may get more replies if you post in the Draft/Trade/Keeper/Waivers Question forum.

in a really deep keeper league that i think i can compete in next year, i would want quentin,,, but if my team was still a little young then i would want cain.... quentin should be ready to produce some numbers next year,,, and where as cain might as well,,, cain will probably need some more seasoning imo before he takes the big step to being a top 15 SP in the bigs.... in the long run i like cain,,, but for shortterm success next year quentin would be my choice(in a really deep league that is)....

he may get more replies in the draft forum, but he will get better answers here in the minors forum as some in the draft forum will not know who quentin is ;-D ;-D

Very true, good point rump. Either way, I'd like to see a roster before I make a decision on this. Which one you take would depend on a number of factors IMO, from what you plan to do next year to who your personel are.

Agree with pretty much what has been said, you need to know a roster to fully gauge the situation correctly. With that in mind however, the safe and more sure pick is Quentin. We know he will hit and have good plate discipline, which will only help in his ballpark. Cain on the other hand is quite young and isn't that polished, he lacks control and how to pitch still. He could very well develope it and become a top SP, but that's just a risk yo take with most talented young SP's. All Quentin really needs to do is get adjusted to the majors and he should become a pretty good OF w/ power.
