Can we declare Farnsworth the Atlanta closer now?

Reitsma's last save opportunity: Aug 16

My fellow Kansan has got 3 SV since then.

Can we assume him the closer now? ;-D

Yeah the only way he will lose it is if he loses his control. Because when he is on he can be unhittable, it's just wrong to have a high 90's FB w/ a slider that can be low 90's.

It seems like he's the closer now.I'm sure Cox wants to find out for sure before the post season,I would suspect it's his job to lose now.

Cox said it is a closer by commitee

But I knew a week ago that Farnsworth had this job locked up. When Reitsma keeps coming in during the 8th and farns the 9th it makes it pretty obvious who the closer is even if Cox won't admit it.

I've gotten a bunch of saves from farnworth this week 2. ;-D

The rest of the committee must have gone to the wrong conference room. He's the only guy there.
