What can I do to help the Katrina Victims? I am a senior in high school this year and want to do something to help them?

I was thinking about a bake sale and I could raise maybe $150...

any other ideas...thanx

Not a bad idea. I like that angle, and even better yet with the donations. If you can get it sanctioned by your school then it might add some legitimacy to it, and you will get even more community involvement.

I was thinking it but I wasn't going to say it.

The suggestion to associate yourself with a school or some other organization is a good idea. People will trust you more and will be more willing to give.

Anything that will raise awareness is a great idea.

How dare you. It's his money, who do you think you are that you can tell him what to do with his money?? I am shocked and appalled.

jk. I definitely the Red Cross is the way to go - as I understand it, less money goes towards administrative things, and they do a better job of controlling peripheral costs than other organizations.

Also think the car wash job is a great idea. With big boobies! Let's face it, most ideas would sound a heck of a lot better if you added "with big boobies!" to the end of it.
