Where does he project to go? Are you just going to steer clear of him entirely? Or treat him like the 20/20 he put up this year?

I can see people preparing to gamble that he'll display the form that was expected in 2005 but still he won't be an automatic top 5 pick. I could see, depending of course on the number of teams participating, that he'll go late in the 2nd round perhaps even the 3rd. He's not even one of the top OF that I'll be looking at.

Let's see how he finishes in Sept. There have been isolated weeks where he has shown flashes of what he can do. But now it's crunch time in the NL East. Let's see if he can crank it up.
Right now, I'd have to think that his value is as a 4th or 5th round pick, maybe even lower.

I'll treat him the same way I did this year. If for some reason he slips down to where I think he deserves to be taken (around 3rd or 4th round), I'll grab him. Otherwise, I won't touch him with a ten foot pole.

if he puts up another massive last month of the season, or god forbid the mets make the playoffs and he does good. some idiot will take him in the late first early 2nd round again.

I suspect he'll go somewhere in the second round. There are about 15 players that I think will definitely go before him, but after that, I think someone will decide to take a chance on him in the mid-second round.

as long as he is playing in New York and his leg was a problem he is a 4rth round pick. If he shows that his leg was not that big of an issue and he just played bad he is a even lower pick. There aren't many OF's that had worse stats then he did.

I've always believed Beltran was overrated and still do. I won't waste a high pick on this guy.

Hell be like Abreu with a little worse average but more potential. 2nd round is probably where hell go.
