m cab at third for 2006

I hope he still plays enough games in the outfield next season to keep his eligiblity. I have Wright and Blalock, so another top thirdbaseman would stink right about now. I already had to trade ARam when Wright was called up.

I may be wrong, but I think his "native" position is SS. Somewhere I seem to remember that I read he was switched to 3B by the Marlins.

Thats true he was switched fairly early in his monor league career though, and I dont think the Marlins have ever considered moving him back to short

If I had thought about it, I would have known he started as a SS. He's Venezuelan. Don't all Venezuelan position players start out as a SS?? :-D

It seems like he will be at third next year & Hermida will take his spot in the outfield.
