.....Although I recovered some in the mid-season draft-I added Peralta, Gomes, Shelton, Todd Jones, Brett Myers, Scott Olsen and Verlander for next year. I traded B.Giles, Vidro and Javy Lopez for Armando Benitez, Joe Maeur and Wade Miller two weeks ago.....

What a unpredictable year!

Closser, Buck, Rowand, Russ Adams, Mike Gonzalez, Kelvim Escobar, Dallas McPherson, Bobby Madritsch, Dan Meyer all have been a big disappointment.

Fortunately I have a longer list of guys I either drafted or had a close eye on going into the season...

Turnbow (Was following him in Spring Training when Ned Yost was gushing about his heater), Peralta & Barmes (I Heard Peter Gammons gush about them both in Spring Training), Dontrelle Willis (Who a lot of people slept on after his weak sophomore campaign), Chad Cordero, Dan Haren, Joe Blanton, Noah Lowry, Livan Hernandez, and I'm sure I could find a few more if I was at home and could look at my cheat sheets from before the season.

Overall I think I did pretty well with sleepers this season compared to the guys that went bust who I wasn't expecting to.
