Trade DL players?

Looking into this in my league. Was wondering how other leagues handle it.

As long as the opposing team has enough active roster slots open to recieve the trade, it's allowed. I've seen this happen in the past week.

Team A dropped Lo Duca to trade Halladay for Zito. This is a keeper league; team A is in the playoff hunt and needed an extra arm...Team B is preparing for next season. Perfectly legit, IMO.

if a player is on YOUR dl slot he cannot be traded until activated. weird rule but thats how it is in my league
