So how do we feel about him starting at 3rd base for the Mets, because that is whats going to happen, whats his fantasy value if any?

look in 12 team drafts he might be worth a 19-25 round pick. I'm a met fan and I'm hoping, but look at Puljos, he was a prospect but not high on the radar. Now look at him 1st round pick in most drafts..

LoL, only a Met fan would like to pretend Wigginton could be another Pujols. I've already read Met fans thinking Reyes will make an A-Rod type impact at shortstop for them.

Ty isnt a highly rated prospect. He will be lucky if he does play everyday, as he projects to a utility man. Burroughs/Blalock actually hit through the minors, and both are 3 years younger.

Although I agree that Wiggington isn't a great choice, he's at least a nice backup. There's no competition for the 3b job in NY and he hit 302 last year in triple-A. More importantly, his strikeout to walk ratio was 50-43, which shows good dicipline. I think that he could turn into a Jeff Cirillo type player, if he's lucky.

He tore up his winter league. Leading in most categories (including k's). I say he's a nice back-up. Even if he hits .250 he has some real pop.
