Huff Analysis?

I think Huff's just bored and tired of playing in Tampa. He's one of the game's better hitters, though relatively unknown until recently. I find it hard to believe that he suddenly lost his swing and think he'll return to .300-30-(and 100 in the right lineup) next year, making him a great draft pick.

He's only got 2 games played at 3b and only 5ab so I would assume that it's either 1 or 0 games started...very doubtful to get 3b in most formats.

He's 1b/of only and only plays rf as far as leagues that have individual of positions.

He's my 3rd basemen, but without that eligibility, he loses a lot of value. If he remains a Devil Ray, I have no plans to draft him next year.

I'd have to agree...even though I expect him to turn things around and get back up to his career averages the loss of 3b eligibility removes a lot of the reason to draft him early on. I won't stay away from him per se but you can usually find a guy that's going to give you just under 30hr's and about 80r/100rbi's to play 1b or of in the middle parts of the draft.

Losing the 3B eligibility definitely lowers his value, and staying in Tampa will lower it even more seeing as he seems to have no interest in playing there. Either way, as JT said he could be a very nice mid-late round sleeper next year with a good risk-reward ratio.
