I'd like to think it's a sign, but he recently had fluid drained off that knee and it continues to give him some grief.
He'll probably need an offseason of rest and strengthening work to get right, but he could be a decent value pick next spring.

Exactly. Berkman is Berkman when healthy...studly numbers. But with that knee it's hard to expect too much. Which is sad since I traded for him, giving away Andruw Jones very early in the year!

Just wanted to say, that this thread apparently got good old Berkman going! Since I posted a what's wrong with this guy that's 4 HRs in 5 games! Keep it up, man!

On a side note, if anyone needs any of their other players to get going, I take PayPal and would be more than willing to start a thread about what's wrong with whoever that might be...

For someone who wasn't really expected to play until all-star break, he has come back earlier from an injury that has sidelined Baldelli all season and he has pretty much put up simular #'s to Beltran for the exception of the SB's. Also, he had some kind of bug that put him out in a loop, so 2005 hasn't been to kind to him, but Berkman seems to make do with it. Can you imagine next year when he is fully healthy while being first base eligible for fantasy owners? He should be someone that ppl need to keep an eye on because he might be off some ppl's radar.
