OAKLAND, Calif. -- The Oakland A's today placed shortstop Bobby Crosby on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to August 28 with a fractured left ankle.

Not good news for the A's at all. He might be out for the rest of the year.

Barmes is coming off the DL on Friday. You might want to check him out if you're looking for a SS.
