I pimped him pretty hard. :-D

18 HR with 28 2B (power is there already), 23 SBs... He's had a lot of clutch hits for Carolina as I followed him all season.

The most impressive stat: 88/111 K/BB... Not bad for a 21 year old.

vs LHP: keep the lineup as it is, Mike Lowell actually hits lefties decently
vs RHP: bench Lowell (his numbers vs righties are pathetic to say the least), move Cabrera to 3B and play Hermida, a good left handed bat.

That's all depending of course on how Hermida's wrist is holding up.

Thats actually what I was thinking but I thought it would actually be getting rid of Lowell next year and putting Hermedia in right or left and MCab at 3rd since I remembered he plays third too. Aren't they looking to get rid of Lowell, and correct me if Im wrong but isn't Encarnocion a FA next year.
I was thinking more along the lines of the remainder of this season. I'm certain Hermida will be in there everyday somehow next year.

Not necessarily. Fins may ship off Lowell and move MCab to his natural position. Hermida is a pretty good fielder so even if they keep Encarnacion, he should have a spot in the OF.

Hermida is a big lefty bat with speed so I really like his chances of starting in 06.

Potential Lineup:
Pierre
Castillo
Cabrera
Delgado
Encarnacion
Hermida
LoDuca/Willingham
Gonzalez

Not bad.

In my opinion the Marlins really need to get rid off Lowell. They should play Cabrera at third. I also think that they need to find PT for Willingham. They should be contenders for the next couple of years.
