I missed out on Felix in my keeper league, but now I've got the number two waiver priority. Think it's worth using that on him here? Or should I hold out for someone else that comes up in September?

And its funny because as he hit it, the annoucers on ESPN were talkin bout the guy on the mets whos 1st hit in the majors a few weeks back was a HR and then he hit a GS the next pitch, wow
Pujols, Sheff, Carpenter, Delgado... all the way to the top!
but before re-drafters get freaky over him, you have to remember that playing time is not garaunteed. mcab, pierre, and encarnacion all are tough guys to sit.
Here's an idea the Marlins should consider (but probably won't):
vs LHP: keep the lineup as it is, Mike Lowell actually hits lefties decently
vs RHP: bench Lowell (his numbers vs righties are pathetic to say the least), move Cabrera to 3B and play Hermida, a good left handed bat.
That's all depending of course on how Hermida's wrist is holding up.

I'm willing to bet that Hermida will make it very tough for McKeon to keep him on the bench.
Sitting Lowell and playing Hermida seems like a no brainer at this point. Lowell should be used as defensive replacement and pinch hitter. He may turn it around but I doubt it will be this year.

Thats actually what I was thinking but I thought it would actually be getting rid of Lowell next year and putting Hermedia in right or left and MCab at 3rd since I remembered he plays third too. Aren't they looking to get rid of Lowell, and correct me if Im wrong but isn't Encarnocion a FA next year.
