Any rumors heard?

I read today that Jocketty is still searching for another bat. Not sure what position.

I was wondering if anyone has heard any rumors (other than the Giles one).

Besides the Giles rumor the only other one I heard was Marquis to the Nats. Sounded like pure speculation and no facts.

That is really the only thing I have heard also. I wouldnt be all that upset to see Marquis go, but I think we can do better than anything the Nats have on their roster. The only guy I would think I would be happy with is Wilkerson and I just dont get to excited about him either.

i havent heard anything good. i heard a rumor the cards talked to the rangers recently but no names were mentioned and not sure how credible it was (delucci has been claimed so maybe nevin with the rangers paying most of his salary?).

i think if marquis gets moved it will be in the offseason. although right now he seems like the odd man out they will probably want to keep him around as a back up seeing as how carp got injured late last year and mulder has the stiff neck thing going on.
