Shortstop Bobby Crosby suffered a sprained left ankle Saturday and was not in the lineup Sunday.
Crosby's exclusion from the lineup was a game-time decision. After taking part in agility drills he said, ``I tried to run but it wasn't happening. It was bad. When it comes time to play tomorrow, I probably won't be able to go. Hopefully I'll be ready in Anaheim'' on Tuesday.
He missed today too...

He hit the DL today
The prognosis for his return seems optimistic, though. Trainer Larry Davis said Crosby will be out a minimum of three weeks -- the move to the D.L. is retroactive to Sunday -- and Crosby could return about Sept. 21.
