It's nice seeing Sage Francis get some shine on here. He's been one of my favorites since I first heard him back in 2001. I'm looking forward to catching him on the fall tour as well. I actually gave him an instrumental for a song he wants to do a cover of during this tour, so I'm interested to see if he uses the one I gave him. Also, back in college I interviewed Joey Beats (the other half on the Non-Prophets) on my radio program...they're both good people.

To whoever was going to buy a Sage CD: Don't buy it from amazon, but it direct from him, email him at mailto:sagetss@aol.com with what you want and he'll give you a price, generally cheaper than you can find from online stores. Also, he throws in bonus stuff that he has laying around his house like stickers, photos, demo cds, set lists from shows, flyers...just random stuff.

Some others to check out if you like Sage, Aesop Rock, etc are Brother Ali, Sole, Busdriver, Lyrics Born, Qwel, Pep Love, Scarub, Murs...I could list people all day long.

Rap and Country. I know.....

Lol, me too. I get looks. I also like some reggae and the reggaeton stuff is pretty cool. I dislike rock...just can't seem to get into it.
