I know there is already a long thread about this, but I just thought this moment deserved its own thread.
Miguel Cabrera is starting his 5th game at 3b today.
WAHOOO!

Wow. His stock keeps going up.
He's working his way into the early second round.
Second best fantasy 3rd baseman next year?

I think he was aleady past early 2nd round as OF elgible only, with 3b elgibility hes a top 5 pick next year

I completely understand your way of thinking, but I would not pick him with my 5th pick.

Guru, who would you take ahead of Cabrera?
Hes on pace for .335 110 runs 35 hr 115 rbi
this is as a 22 year old and 3b + OF elgible next year...hes only getting better. I find it hard to believe that if you had the 5th pick youd pass on Cabrera, unless you have some sort of grudge against him.

A-Rod, Pujols, Vlad are clear top-3. Then, it gets a little iffy. Abreu, Soriano, Tejada, Cabrera, Teixeira, Ramirez, Ortiz, Santana, Pedro, perhaps Beltran for people who believe in him are all up there. Personally, I'd want Soriano and Abreu, due to the lethal power/speed combo. I don't buy the fact that people are telling me Soriano can't hit outside Arlington, because he did damn well in NYY. So, I have Cabrera as #6 with 3B eligibility. That's just my opinion, though.
And I'm assuming this in a roto format, where SBs are especially coveted.
