i was saying griffey sarcastically being as he is my favorite player (my sig) how is chris carpenter not the #1 fantasy value going in the 13-15th round?
and relax jamican you always are trying to jump on me...what did i do to you?
Hot Chick Draft: 1.01: Scarlett Johansson 2.12: Mila Kunis 3.01: Malin Akerman 4.12: Britney Spears 5.01: Jessica Simpson 6.12: Penelope Cruz 7.01: Tera Patrick 8.12: Christina Milian 9.01: Cameron Diaz 10.12: Lucy Liu 11.1: Jamie Lynn Sigler
I guess it's easy to agree with everything when your main stance on most topics is "what he said".

Watch your step. Or, at least, spell it right if you're going to insult him.

Lol its ok, not like I care. Im nowhere close to be Jamacian. Just like the beer and the commercials.
My value vote goes to Pat Burrell. I drafted him 23rd round or lower in every league this season. .289 25Hr 92RBI. Nothing spectalur but to land a OF 2 at an OF 5 price is almost always a huge difference maker in being top 3 instead of top 6 in all formats

He has been nice, but I still think I'd give the edge to either Ensberg or Griffey.
Griffey, D. & C. Lee, J. Patterson (never to be confused w/ C. Patterson), B. Roberts, C. Floyd (I think he was 25th rounder in a 25 round draft), C. Cordero C. Carpenter, D. Willis and Ensberg have all been mentioned.
Where did D. Wright go in most drafts? I know he wasn't undrafted, but he's up there for value pick isn't he?
What about Jorge Cantu? The guy's a 2B, probably went undrafted and already has 20+ HR and 90+ RBI? That's HUGE value off the WW.
see, the thing about "best value" is that all of these players were drafted in wildly different places in different league this year. in my league (where Rump took Griffy in the 18th and burrell went in the 13th) Griffy was clearly a better value than Burrell. but in my other league where I got burrel in the 18th and griffy went in the 10th, i'll take my burrell.
so unless you've got some crazy database with TONS of draft results in put in to it, you can't really say who was the "best" for everyone this year. i know a lot of people who avoided KG like the plague, but then again, there were some out there who were willing to reach in to the top 10 rounds for him and did so.

Griffey went in the 12 round in my league and everyone, including me, laughed at him for doing that. Now hes laughing back. Good thing hes not making the playoffs or i would be scared.
David Wright usually went around 9-12, as all my 4 leagues drafted that way. Next yr, he should be bumped up to 4th round or maybe even higher.
There are alot of value players this yr, but I have to agree that pat burrell is definitely the most notable. He was drafted in the bottom 3 rounds in most league and became one of the most productive OF this yr.
