So is there any playert hat busted but you still hoped would get back to from and rode him out for months after the struggles started (or, in my case, still hoping he'll bounce back)?

Is there a player no one wanted but you took a chance on him early and he is still on your roster producing more then eevr?

I had Kolb on my team untill last week in a Cafe memmber dynasty league I am in. He was a freakin' 5th round pick, I couldn't push the drop button until all my nerves snapped last week.

I am proud to say that in the same league I drafted Griffey in the 16th round and have stuck with him the whole season while enjoying his success.

I can name three...Thome, Escobar and Eaton.

I have recently dropped Eaton.
I'm really hoping Escobar can produce as a SP in September.

My surprise player has been Tood Jones.

Geez .... I picked him up (all the while swearing under my breath and contemplating my doom) for a few saves while Mota was down. He's outproducing my million dollae closers (Lidge and K-Rod) in all cats but Ks. 3 SVs this week alone on pace for 37.

ERA: 1.11
WHIP: 0.92

1. Richard Hidalgo. Started him for over a month...when he was barely hanging over the Mendoza line.

2. Derrick Turnbow, Dustin Hermanson...drafted Pat Burrell and Cliff Floyd but traded them.

Victor. I had to listen to all the guys in my league tell me how I needed a different catcher, since he sucked so bad. Guess who's laughing now watching VMart hit .400 since the ASB? I also held Thome and Lowell too long hoping they'd bust out.

As far as guys no one wanted, I drafted Utley, dropped him when it became clear he wasn't the full-time starter, he sat out there for a while, and then I grabbed him again because he was so good part time. I also grabbed Bay as a FA after someone dropped him, and used him in a deal for Tex. I also picked up Mench, J. Patterson, and Cantu along the way, which paid dividends all season, and then even more when two days ago I traded JPatt, Mench, and Utley for Johan and plugged Cantu into the hole at 2B. Worked out ok (especially since Utley's last day on my team is today, and just for old time sakes I played him against a LHP and he hit 2 HRs ;-)
