He's starting at 3B and Perez is at SS today.
Does anyone have any info as to whether this is the arrangement we can expect moving forward now that Ramirez is on the DL? Or can we expect a typical Dusty Baker situation where these two are flip-flopping on a daily basis with Macias thrown into the mix for good measure?

Yes, I'm pretty sure I read that is the arrangement from now on.

Sounds like Nomar will be the ChC 3B while ARam is out.

And here I half-expected Nomar himself to go on the DL.
Wow. If he can get 15 games there, that will make him *slightly* more valuable next year. Though 3B is much much deeper than SS.

Perez is actually at 2B and Cedeno was called up for SS. Makes you wonder if Walker (who cleared Waivers) isn't headed somewhere?
They knew Cedeno was the best help they had for the INF, and Nomar knew it too as he supposedly volunteered for 3B. I imagine he'd play anywhere just so he can show something before he needs a new contract in the offseason.

The Marlins were starting a lefty today, so it may just be a random day off for Walker. Before the spat of injurues the Cubs have had, Walker did not always play against lefties.
