Yeah sorry Lo, should have mentioned I was referring to you not Mad. But yes that makes more sense....if it hurts after you get up from sitting down, that would suggest hamstring. If it isn't settling down it could be a grade 2 tear. In which case best to see a physio.
UPDATE: I reinjured it much worse than originally. I was at a party last night and they got this cool hude waterslide. I was running from across the street and really tearing it up nicely. Anyway, my last attempt, I wanted some extra liftoff and when I jumped, I felt a pop and I haven't been able to move too well ever since. I think that I might need to go see a doctor.

heal well. eat lots of pineapples.
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.

it was said with general fondness and no malicious intent...

hmmm... can we get a little red cross for ryn under his avatar? (in addition to the coffee mug?)
Then I might be mistaken for a charity
LO: Pops aren't good dude. They usually mean a tear of a ligament or tendon. There aren't many ligaments in you hip area that are likely to be injured like that, however there are plenty in the knee. If it is still sore on the back of the leg I maintain it's a hamstring strain - grade 1 or 2 tear. Grade 3 is a complete rupture in which case you would definately know.

Just messing .
Go see your doc and get well soon.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
