I just read this from Baseball Prospectus, may have some fantasy implications for keeper leagues.
Harden is scheduled to pitch Saturday, though they also made sure that Juan Cruz was available if necessary, lifting him early from a Triple-A start. There is also rampant speculation that Daric Barton may be called up as soon as this week to help the A’s offense.
He has been destroying AA pitching:
166 AB
.331 AVG
.429 OBP
.512 SLG
Current 16 game hitting streak.

I don't think Barton is coming up, according to Ken macha
The San Francisco Chronicle reports that Daric Barton won't be promoted from Double-A Midland when rosters expand according to A's manager Ken Macha.
I wouldn't expect him to be called either, they don't wanna rush him

Billy Beane has said that Barton will not be among the Sept callups. He feels that the jump from AA would be too great for him at this time.
