In a league that allows daily roster moves and waivers run daily, what do you all think of...
a team who adds and drops pitchers daily to have at least 3-4 daily starting pitchers (so they can get 10-15 starts in a scoring period) whereas generally, most teams have a starting 5 and 1-2 reserves that they work with (meaning a max of 7 starts). The league doesn't have a max on games started or a waiver limit.
the league gives 10 points for a win & 1 point per strikeout, so a good outing from a waiver pitcher really swings the door in your favor (hoever, the loss only counts as 5 points and you still get the positive pints for K's and innings...so it usally doesn't hurt you much)
Some look at it as strategy and others look at it like cheating. Your thoughts?
Would you be PO'd if a guy beat you in a head-to-head merely by picking up pitchers everday? Or do you think it's great strategy?

I think it was a mistake not to put an innings limit in your league, and since there isn't one, I say its pretty good strategy...

i think it's a poorly designed league- not cheating, but a boorish strategy.

Nothing wrong with it if everyone can turn around and do the same thing. It's just like our DL rule...
We have a transaction fee but an amnesty clause for the guy that subs for someone on your team that hits the DL. So what people do is if a guy goes to the DL, the guy they pick up to replace him is rotate-able through FA at no charge per pickup. So I turned around and dropped 2 guys, picked up Barmes and Bonds a few months ago and I've been rotating those 2 spots with both starters and hitters. It's kind of busch league but everyone can do it, so what's the big deal?

I don't think there's anything wrong with that... just someone being smart... Next time have an innings pitched max ....
