once i lower my hands to the keyboard (which rests comfortably in my lap) it really is waaaay too much effort to go click on the mouse which is alllll theee waaaaay on my desk. i could of course do keyboard smileys, but then I'd have to remember which things correspond to what, and that really is too hard.
