Craig Hansen could still become a starter down the road. That is of course if he continues to improve his changeup because it's not as if he was a 1 inning guy in college.

Papelbon, Lester, and Sanchez will be the starters. Hansen = Closer when Foulke blows up next season

Yeah, I'm almost positive that he will be the longterm closer for the team. However, I think that because of his stamina and changeup growth that if the opportunity for him to start ever arose, he could indeed become a good starter. However, Boston is far from short on starting pitching prospects, so he will most definitely be the closer.

Did I miss something? Was Hansen originally an option? If so... Hansen.

I think Hansen will be better as well.....I like Devine, but he is showing every sign of being rushed in the worst way
