Q - Why didn't (insert pitcher) get the save tonight?
A - According to the MLB rule book this is the official scoring for a save....
SAVES FOR RELIEF PITCHERS 10.20 Credit a pitcher with a save when he meets all three of the following conditions: (1) He is the finishing pitcher in a game won by his club; and (2) He is not the winning pitcher; and (3) He qualifies under one of the following conditions: (a) He enters the game with a lead of no more than three runs and pitches for at least one inning; or (b) He enters the game, regardless of the count, with the potential tying run either on base, or at bat, or on deck (that is, the potential tying run is either already on base or is one of the first two batsmen he faces); or (c) He pitches effectively for at least three innings. No more than one save may be credited in each game.
Q - Where can I find a list of contract year players? A - Well, you could look in the "irrelevent, useless information" forum since the contract year bounce is a complete myth. Or, you could look someplace like Contract Year Myths. However, there is a complete list right here.
I'll add more as they come in.

Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
Is there a place here that i can get into a mock auction? I found all the mock auction areas but not how to form one or get in one. Really wanting to get some practice this year before my draft.

Best is a relative term and tends to go with what someone likes.
As to other catagories that are commonly used, in hitting:
OPS, SLG%, Walks, doubles, are pretty common.
In pitching:
Holds, Quality Starts, K/9 (instead of total K's), K/BB.
Hope that helps.
