Pick 3 is a weekly contest once baseball season gets going. Rankings are done for this year I believe, but sometimes one of the mods will ask for people rankings so they can be compiled. And typos or errors - go to the Contribution, Site Issue & Suggestion Box forum.

That's correct. I won't get into the worth of the stat itself (because it's kind of a joke), but it basically means a middle reliever came into the game in a save situation (a lead of less than 3 runs or tying run on deck I believe) and left the game without giving the lead up. For fantasy purposes, the more holds the better (if your league counts them of course).

And maybe you mean Politte from the White Sox?
Good reply BP.
Just to second it, if your league counts holds, then set up guys are what you should target to take care of that catagory.

For fantasy purposes, Holds really only mean something if your league counts it. Many leagues are starting to add it in as another pitching category so that people have more of a reason to draft non-starting and non-closing pitchers.
If your league doesn't count holds then ignore the stat, they are not any use when judging a pitcher's ability.
