Cabrera at 3B???

I'm happy to report that Miguel is penciled in to start today's game at 3b for the marlins against the Cubbies. That would make 4 games started at the hot corner for him, one more and 'll never say anything bad about McKeon again!!!

I am really hoping that the Fins have the good sense to move Cabrera back to 3B when rosters expand in Sep.

They would be so much better by giving Hermida a shot and leave Lowell on the bench where he belongs.

Update: Lowell was benched on Thursday, with Miguel Cabrera getting the start at third base, and Cabrera will start at third again on Friday, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.

Recommendation: It's possible this move is being made in preparation for Jeremy Hermida's promotion to the majors -- in which case Lowell could effectively be fighting with Juan Encarnacion for playing time down the stretch.
