Anyone know the story behind Cabrera being moved to 3B last night in the middle of the game? I did not see any news on it on my stat service or on mlb.com in the game notes.
With last night this gives him 3 games at 3B correct?
Don't know why he was moved to 3B last night, but I can confirm that he's now had 3 games at 3B this year.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
Notes: Batters need either 5 Games Started or 10 Games Played at a position to gain eligibility. Pitchers need 3 Starts to gain SP eligibility, 5 Relief Appearances to gain RP eligibility. Each number displayed is a count-down, so for instance, "5" means "five games remaining to gain eligibility."
Cabrera currently has a 7 for G and a 3 for S @ 3B. Am I to assume that he needs to either play 7 more games at 3B or start 3 more to gain 3B eligibility? Are their numbers correct?
Moving Cabrera to 3B for a slumping Huff, moving Huff to the bench and filling my OF with Wells, Crawford, and Guillen makes this more than worth following for me. Naturally I'll probably end up regretting that I just dropped Edmonds for Farnsworth since everything I've done in this league has turned to *expletive starting with "S"*

Where are you seeing those numbers?
I'm only seeing 3 at 3B.
120 in the OF.
1 as a pinch hitter.
That's looking under stuational stats at Yahoo.

You're right on what you're seeing.
The 7G is how many he needs to play in at 3B to gain eligibility (which goes along with the 3 games played you're seeing). He needs 3S (3 games started) at 3B since he's started at 3B in two of the three games he's played there and the requirement is either 10 games played or 5 games started.
I just noticed something while looking at his situational stats.
Miggy's hitting .291 in 206 at bats while hitting 3rd in the lineup.
He's hitting .379 in 261 at bats while hitting cleanup!
Oh, and a minor correction, the 120 games in the OF are actually in LF. Sorry.
Where does it show games started? That's what I'm not seeing.
