another win tonight, only 9.5 back in the division and 2.5 back in AL wildcard!!! they are starting to pick up steam. if they can sweep the ChiSox this series, they will be in contention for both division and wildcard.

I'll warn you you'll probably get ripped apart for posting that here....
However people are forgeting about them. Just like in 02 and 03 they were an after thought to the masses with the White Sox getting all the hype, then next offseason it was the Royals. Now everyone is taking a stance on the A's, the Indians, and the Yankees.
If the offense gets going, it's going to be interesting. They have Johan red hot and the bullpen firing on all cylinders. Silva is a very underrated pitcher too. The wildcard is what they do with the 5 spot, IE if Liriano comes up, he could be a deadly x-factor.... a big if, but he's pretty damn good@

I don't understand why they keep trotting Joe Mays out there. He's Milton's righty twin. With Baker and Liriano chomping at the bit, why keep Mays in the rotation and forfeit the game during this important time?
Minnie does a terrible job of handling their prospects IMO.

I thought a september call up was imminent for Liriano? I agree Silva and Lhose have earned their spots, but that five spot is ripe for change. Would they summon Baker befor Liriano? I would love to see Liriano pitch, his numbers have been incredible at Rochester.
What a terrible trade that was for the Giants in getting AJ...in hindsight.
What ever happened to the The Real Deal Durbin? I thought he was your next big pitching prospect? Well it was a tough loss for Freddie last night but #56 is our slump buster. Go Sox.

Give me an example of how the Twins don't use their prospects right? Please don't say the handling of Johan as that OBVIOULSY worked out just fine as he's developed decenlty.... ha
